How do I pick a strength?
Think about how much omega-3 you want per serving. Critical Care is the most potent at 2,350mg, Ultra Daily sits in the middle at 1,350mg for everyday use, and Easy Swallow gives you 800mg in a smaller softgel. The fish, the form, and the purity testing are identical across all three.
How many do I take, and how long does a bottle last?
Take 1 to 2 softgels daily with food. The 2,350mg figure on this page is for a 2-softgel serving, so at two a day a 60-count bottle is a 30-day supply. At one a day it lasts 60 days and gives you half the omega-3.
Will these give me fishy burps or repeat on me?
That is the most common complaint with fish oil, and it is why ours are enteric-coated. The coating holds the softgel together until it is past your stomach, so no fishy taste and no repeat. We also add lipase, a digestive enzyme that helps your body break down and digest the fish oil.
What does "triglyceride (rTG) form" mean, and why should I care?
A lot of fish oil on the market is in the ethyl ester form because it is cheaper to make. Ours is in the Max-Absorb triglyceride form, which is closer to how omega-3 naturally shows up in fish. It is the form your body already recognizes.
What fish is it made from, and is it tested?
Wild-caught anchovy, sardine and mackerel, sustainably sourced from Norway. Every batch is IFOS certified and third-party tested for purity, freshness and potency.
Is the softgel made from beef or pork gelatin?
Neither. The softgel is made from fish gelatin sourced from tilapia. It is also a dark softgel, which protects the oil inside from UV degradation.
